Welcome Drinks – Monday, 11th May
As is tradition at many weddings—and something we truly wish for—the day before the big celebration we’d love for everyone to come together, mingle, and start getting to know one another before things become serious (and emotional!).
Bringing together different groups of friends isn’t always easy when you live abroad, which is why we want to make the most of it by starting the celebrations from the day before. Join us for a relaxed aperitivo and dinner with as many of you as possible at the beautiful restaurant la Polveriera, by the hotel Santa Barbara
Via Marlianese – Mammianese, 4, 51016 Montecatini Terme PT, Italy.
The venue is just less than half an hour drive from the Fattoria and, hopefully, very close to your hotel as well.
There’s no strict schedule—we’ll be there from 7:00 pm until they politely ask us to leave.
Drinks and nibbles are on us, of course… so bring your thirst and your best spirit!
Dress Code
There is no specific dress code – come as you are.Â
The Wedding Day – Tuesday, 12th May 2026
We’re getting married!
The ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and party will all take place at the same venue:
Fattoria Settepassi
Via Gremignaio, 23
51019 Ponte Buggianese (PT)
The venue includes a dining room, a party space, a beautiful ceremony area known as La Tabaccaia, a small B&B for close family and elderly guests, large outdoor fields with a children’s playground, a dedicated dog area, and all necessary facilities.
Approximate schedule for the day:
15:30 – Guests arrive at the venue and are welcomed by the groom
16:00 – Ceremony begins upstairs at the stunning Tabaccaia
17:00 – Celebratory drinks and nibbles, with live music
 19:00 – Dinner
22:00 – Let them eat cake!
22:10 – Party time: live music followed by a DJ set
 23:30 – Surprise
02:00 – If you’re still standing, this is when the venue will ask us to call it a night
The ceremony will be civil, although the space itself has a church-like structure. Expect organ music, speeches, and probably a few tears—very much in the spirit of a traditional ceremony.
Please note that throwing rice is not allowed. Confetti and olive leaves, kindly provided by the venue, are very welcome.
Dress code
There’s no formal dress code—wear what makes you feel comfortable and festive. That said, red, purple, and black are not recommended colours.
Music
As many of you are musicians and singers, you are more than welcome to play or sing during the live music portions of the evening. All instruments will be provided—just know that this will make Marco extremely happy.
